At Shelby Area District Library, we understand that big kids and grown ups need a place to discover, learn, and make new friends, too! That’s why we offer a variety of programs and events aimed at adults and teens.
Silent Book Club
New at the library! Join fellow book lovers one Saturday afternoon a month during the winter/early spring season for this unique spin on a book club. Bring a book and a snack, get an update on library happenings, and enjoy 30-40 minutes of quiet reading time. Check our calendar for the next date and time.
Craft Nights
These early evening creative gatherings are among our most popular programs at the library. Craft nights, open to teens and adults, feature a guided DIY craft such as stone or canvas painting, seasonally-themed decor, and more. Registration is required for these events so be sure to sign up early as seats go quickly. Visit out events calendar for upcoming craft nights.

Author Talks
Occasionally, the Friends of SADL will sponsor an author talk featuring writers with local connections. Keep an on eye out for upcoming author talks on our Facebook page and events calendar.
