Michigan eLibrary Catalog (MeLCat) is a statewide interlibrary loan program connecting library card holders to thousands of books, books on CD, DVDs, and other media. If you are unable to find a title at Shelby Area District Library, you may request it from another participating library through MeLCat.
How to use MeLCat:
- Visit the MeLCat website and search for the title.
- If the title is available at another participating library, select the “Get This For Me” button to request it.
- Select your home library (Shelby Area District Library), enter your name and library card number, and select “Submit.”
- Your requested title will be delivered to the library, and you will be notified.
- After you are finished with the title, return it to the library and staff will handle the rest.
