National Library Week
April 8 - April 13
Ready, Set, Library!
Join us in celebrating our library, library workers, and to promote library use and support.
SADL will host a variety of events during this special week and there will be special treat bags to the first 100 patrons courtesy of the Friends of the Library.
National Library Week Events:
- Total Eclipse Watch Party – Monday April 8th, 3:00pm on the library lawn. Free eclipse glasses (limit 2 per person) are available at the circulation desk.
- Make Your Own Bookmark Workshop – Wednesday, April 10th drop-in event between 3:00-6:00pm in the meeting room. Event for those 6+.
- Dollars & Cents Family Storytime – Friday, April 12th at 3:00pm in the meeting room. Listen to a story, paint your own ceramic piggy bank, and each family will receive a free book to take home.
- Silent Book Club – Saturday, April 13th at 1:00pm in the reading room. Bring a book and a snack.
