Drop-in style (while supplies last).  Make a zoo animal bookmark!

Workshop for teens and adults.  Create an outdoor wind chime using a terra cotta pot, leather cording, and beads. You can paint your pot using paint brushes or try a pour technique for a unique look.  Registration is required for this event.  Call the library at 231-861-4565 or email [email protected].

Identify various wild animal tracks placed throughout the library.  Receive a prize upon completion.  Fun activity for families!

All are welcome to join the quarterly meeting of the Friends of Shelby Area District Library - Thursday, July 11 at 5:00 in the Meeting Room. Plans for the Open House and upcoming Good Buy Book Sale in August will also be finalized. Refreshments will be served.

We will celebrate Smokey's 80th birthday with a special storytime.  As a wildlife prevention specialist, Smokey raises public awareness about how human behavior can accidentally cause a wildfire.  His goal is for humans to be aware of their actions and take personal responsibility to prevent wildfires!  FOR AGES 4-11.
