  • Halloween Inspired Wood Pallet Workshop

    For teens and adults.  Registration required and will begin on Monday, September 15.  Call 231-861-4565 or email [email protected]. Using acrylic paint and a 9x9 inch wooden pallet sign, we will create a fun Halloween decoration for the home.

    The Board of Trustees meets the fourth Tuesday of every month (besides July and December) at 5:30pm in the Shelby Area District Library Board Room. The public is welcome to attend and may participate during the public comment period at the start of the meeting. For past meeting minutes, visit our Board of Trustees page.

  • Trunk or Treat in Downtown Shelby

    The Shelby Area District Library librarians will be at Downtown Shelby's Trunk or Treat event on Halloween!  We will be passing out candy, bookmarks, and magnets. Stop by our "trunk" to say hi! Books from Read Early, Read Often will be handed out at the Getty Park Spooktacular event that evening.
