Shelby Library's branch library in Rothbury is located in the Village Hall and is staffed by a faithful group of volunteers from the community. The small outreach library offers a rotating collection of materials that can be checked out for three weeks. A popular service of the outreach library operation is delivery of materials to the main library in Shelby. Library patrons can call or email the Shelby Library and request that materials be brought to the Rothbury branch to be picked up there.
The Rothbury Branch Library hours are as follows:
- Monday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm
- Thursday 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm
- Friday 10:00 am until 12:00 pm (Noon)
