Preserving local history and making that information accessible is an important goal of the Shelby Area District Library.  Our Local History Committee meets monthly to discuss special topics and plan programs. 

Committee members are looking for area residents who will share historical documents, photographs, postcards, personal histories, and other memorabilia to be displayed at the library.  Please call the library and ask for Diane, Sandra, or Ann at the desk for more information or email them at shelbylibrary@yahoo.com.
