The Shelby Library, alongside The Library Network and the Lakeland Library Cooperative, is proud to announce the addition of new digital content and programming tools through two American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grants.
New content for patrons has been added in the following areas:
● Audio & e-Books - OverDrive content in education, health, job-seeking skills, and workforce development
● Online programs - New and improved virtual programming
● Outdoor programs - Safe and fun programs outside

DOLLY PARTON IMAGINATION LIBRARY
Dolly Parton's Imagination Library makes reading exciting and fun for your children! Each month a new, carefully selected book will be mailed in your child's name directly to your home, with no cost or obligation to your family. It is a FREE GIFT, made possible by generous donations to United Way of the Lakeshore. Children ages birth through five who are residents of Oceana County are eligible (please note: children signing up should not be turning five within 3 months of application). MeLCat is a statewide multi-type library resource sharing program funded with an LSTA grant provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Library of Michigan.
